NOT A BRIGHT IDEA
Police received a call from a man who reported being hit in the head with a light. When police arrived, the man refused medical treatment. His 32-year-old girlfriend was arrested and charged with domestic violence assault.
PUT UP YOUR DUKES
A Bennett Street resident called police to report a drunk man punching their house. Police called a cab for the man and no charges were filed.
FORGIVE ME FATHER
Police received a call from a counselor who reported a client made threats to hurt others. Police determined the man was venting. The man said he would talk to a priest.
HELPING A FRIEND MOVE?
Police responded to Dunkin Donuts where a fight allegedly occurred. Police said two people involved in the fight left the scene, but two others remained. They were issued disorderly conduct warnings.
CATCHING Zs
Police said a 7-11 employee called police after he found a stranger sleeping in his car. Police said after the man was awakened, he got out of the car and headed home.
HIT AND RUN
Police said a McDonald’s employee went to the police station to report seeing a pregnant woman hitting a man with a purse at the restaurant. Neither the woman nor the man was located.
LONG ARM OF THE LAW
Police said a Brook Street man was arrested by South Portland Police following a forgery investigation. Police said the man was charged with forgery and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in connection with travelers checks passed at Hannaford.
