In your own words, why are you seeking elected office? Sanford is a community with unlimited potential. We have the resources and ability to become the hub of York County and envy of other communities. The decisions that are made as a Councilor shape the way and direction of growth. I enjoy being a part of this decision making and knowing my contributions to our community with benefit not a few, but thousands. Ensuring the basic necessities are in place in the first step; a strong police and fire department equipped to deal with a growing community. Along those lines, ensuring our CIP and basic infrastructure is well suited for a growing community. Economic Development has been a buzz word around town, but what it really means is making Sanford successful. How I plan to do this is continuing to take advantage of opportunities that bring business into Sanford, hence creating good paying jobs and increasing the overall tax base. Without a strong commercial and industrial tax base, the burden falls on the resident, which we see more in Sanford then we’d like.
